Align Financial Group Inc. announced that Joshua Parish has joined the firm as vice president of the company’s newly acquired professional liability subsidiary, E.L.M. Insurance Brokers. Parrish will establish and manage a new branch office for the company in San Diego.
Parrish was previously assistant vice president and professional risks practice leader at AWISpro. He has held prior management liability positions with Lockton and AIG.
ELM is a specialist wholesale insurance brokerage headquartered in El Segundo, Calif., that focuses on providing coverage advice and liability insurance solutions to professionals such as accountants, architects, engineers, real estate agents, insurance brokers as well as other miscellaneous professional consultants.
Align Financial Group Inc. is a Delaware domiciled insurance holding company that also owns Align General Insurance Agency Inc., a general agency and program underwriting manager headquartered in San Diego, and Align Claims Services Inc., an independent claims adjusting company based in Irvine, Calif. In addition to its recently acquired professional liability brokerage business, the company underwrites and manages exclusive insurance programs on behalf of a growing number of insurers.
