IMA Inc., an independently owned retail insurance broker announced that Brent Hartman has joined the company’s health risk management practice, Life IQ, in the Denver office.
Life IQ is IMA’s multidisciplinary health risk management consulting practice that relies on health education and targeted interventions to help companies change behaviors and environments in ways conducive to health and productivity.
As a certified health education specialist, Hartman is experienced in the development, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive worksite health improvement programs. He helps employers measure the impact of clinical and non-clinical programs on improving the health status of their population, resulting in a healthier bottom line. At IMA, Hartman will provide clients with custom solutions for health risk management through the Life IQ program.
Hartman has experience as a senior consultant for health management with a regional insurance broker and for a large national medical insurance company. He has also worked in human resources and as an associate professor of health education for a university.
