Woodland Hills, Calif.-based Venbrook Group announced it has acquired an ocean marine book of business from Brown & Brown by its retail brokerage company, Venbrook Insurance Services (VIS). The business will be serviced from a newly established Seattle office led by Senior Vice President Sharon Edmondson and Vice President Knut Landboe.
The Seattle office will focus on hull and protection and indemnity coverage, complementing VIS’ existing book of ocean cargo business and adding another dimension to its National Transportation division.
