The filing provides official notification to company’s shareholders of matters to be brought to a vote before them at the annual meeting, which is scheduled for May 29, 2008. Employers is in the process of mailing the Definitive Proxy Statement and the 2007 Annual Report to its shareholders.
Employers is a holding company with subsidiaries that are specialty providers of workers’ compensation insurance and services focused on select, small businesses engaged in low-to-medium hazard industries. The company, through its subsidiaries, operates in 12 states from 13 office locations.
