Apollo Agencies Inc. of Manhattan Beach, Calif., has named John Ferrel vice president. He will oversee all operations of Kinecta’s wholly-owned property and casualty insurance subsidiary.
Ferrel has more than 22 years of experience, and most recently served as the president and creator of Golden West Financial’s newest subsidiary, World Savings Insurance Agency Inc. There he led operations to provide insurance services to World Savings Bank’s 600,000 mortgage loan customers. Prior to that, Ferrel spent 20 years at Golden West Financial Corp. where he was responsible for all activities of the agency.
