Christian Hamlin of E.L.M. Insurance Brokers, El Segundo, Calif., has earned his RPLU and will be receiving his formal appointment at the upcoming PLUS (Professional Liability Underwriters Society) Conference in Chicago, Ill., in Nov. 2006.
To qualify for the RPLU designation, an individual must be especially disciplined because it is a self-study program, according to Fred Fisher, E.L.M. president. “The individual signs onto a self-study course, and upon completion of the course is then tested electronically. Upon successfully passing each rigorous exam, the individual can then move onto the next course – to repeat the process until fully completing all five courses.”
Hamlin has been with E.L.M. since June 1998 and is a Broker specializing in the professional liability area concentrating on lawyers, architects and engineers, miscellaneous consultants and allied healthcare professionals.
