Continental Risk Insurance Services, a surplus lines broker, has opened a new facility in Lodi, Calif., devoted to the marine industry. Operating under the name of Continental Marine Insurance Services, it will concentrate on marinas, boat dealers, boat manufacturers, yacht brokers, boat repairers, marine contractors, large and difficult to place yachts and ocean cargo.
Jeana Ramos, vice president, has been chosen to oversee the facility. She has more than 14 years of experience in the marine industry and has been responsible for functions such as underwriting, brokering, marketing and producer cultivation.
Marine programs are available in California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona and Idaho with up to $10 million in limits.
