Insurance agents, brokers and other insurance professionals licensed to transact business in Washington can now print copies of their licenses from their personal computers using a new online service offered by the Office of the Insurance Commissioner.
The service is accessed from the Insurance Commissioner’s Web site . Select the “For Agent/Brokers” button, and then the “Print duplicate license” link that appears in the drop-down menu.
The new feature, currently limited to insurance professionals already licensed by the Insurance Commissioner, is available to agents, brokers, adjusters, general agents and solicitors. In addition to the ability to print duplicate licenses, the new service also allows users to update address information, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses.
Besides the convenience it offers licensees, the new service saves staff time, resources and mailing costs.
The new license printing feature is available to the state’s 87,000 licensed insurance professionals. Other capabilities include the ability look up an individual’s licensing status, appointments and affiliations. Use the Agent/broker lookup button to access this feature.
