Acordia announced that John Sacia is the new managing director of Acordia’s Northwest Area in its Mountain West Regional operation. The newly formed Northwest Area includes the company’s Seattle and Portland offices. In his new capacity, Sacia will be responsible for these offices’ operations.

Sacia has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, most recently as founder of Sacia Risk Solutions in Seattle. Prior to that, Sacia has held such positions as president of the Sedgwick Seattle office, regional director of Aon Northwest, and CEO of the Chicago office for Aon/RBH.

Upon graduation from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, Sacia joined Wausau Insurance Company where he had a 23-year career in a claims and sales capacity prior to joining Aon/RBH.
