The Safeco Mutual Funds Group, which manages $3.9 billion in assets, named a former Alliance Capital Management executive as its new president.
Kevin Rowell, formerly head of global relationships for investment firm Alliance Capital in New York, will join the Redmond, Washington-based fund group. The Safeco funds are a unit of insurer Safeco Corp.
