InsuranceNoodle has achieved its goal of being licensed to sell small business insurance in every state in the continental United States, with the recent addition of New Mexico to the fold.
“With the licensing of New Mexico, we have achieved the key milestone of being the only e-broker reaching 100 percent of the independent insurance agencies in the 49 states of the continental U.S.,” said InsuranceNoodle CEO Don Urbanciz, “and of being able to provide the country’s more than 5.4 million small businesses with tailored insurance solutions through independent agencies.”
InsuranceNoodle’s Internet-based distribution model provides independent insurance agents and small business owners with online access to commercial solutions from name brand insurance carriers-all through a single-entry, multi-carrier (SEMCI) application.
In addition to the milestone marked by the New Mexico licensing, Urbanciz said that the signing of 1,600 agency partnersrepresenting nearly 10,000 individual producers/salespeoplein just over 12 months has made InsuranceNoodle one of the nation’s largest and fastest growing networks of commercial insurance agencies dedicated to serving the small business market.
