Georgia Insurance Commissioner Ralph Hudgens said Georgians have already filed more than an estimated $10 million in claims related to last week’s snow storm.
Hudgens said in a statement that insured losses include damage to insured homes and vehicles. He said the estimated total is based on claims activity reported to the state insurance department by major insurance providers.
Hudgens said the estimate is only partial and does not include all storm-related insurance claims.
