Alliant Insurance Services acquired Texas Insurance Agency in Laredo, one of the U.S.’s busiest international trade ports, specializing in cross-border trucking risk and insurance; as well as McAfee Insurance Agency in Mabank, a leading insurance service provider in East Texas.
The growth signifies Alliant’s foothold in cross-border transportation risk management in South Texas and its continued expansion throughout the state, Alliant said.
Alongside the acquisitions, Alliant strengthens its regional expertise, hiring Nader Dabboussi in Dallas and Jordan Lewis in McAllen. Dabboussi has 20+ years’ risk management experience in the challenging cross-border public transportation sector. Lewis specializes in delivering comprehensive insurance and risk solutions designed specifically for trucking and transportation companies operating throughout the South Texas and cross-border territories.
Both cross-border specialists leverage data-driven telematics, analytics and technology platforms to strengthen clients’ risk posture through data-informed insurance solutions.
