The ACORD — User Groups Information Exchange (AUGIE) has launched its Agents’ Survey, a collaborative industry effort to determine what agents want out of their automation system and company partners today.
Agents interested in making changes in the design of new products and system offerings to better suit their needs, must take this survey, said Michael Bergstein, vice president, Capacity Coverage Group. Responses to the survey will assist in reaching the goal of greater efficiency in automation between agents, carriers and vendors.
Paul Peeples, director of technology, Florida Association of Insurance Agents said, “This survey will assist vendors and companies in determining where agencies feel they need the most assistance in terms of their technology and management system interfaces. It will also help them to assess how they should spend their IT allowances for such projects.”
This online survey for agents is now up and running and will be accessible through Feb. 1. It can be accessed by visiting www.ACORD.org/augie/survey.htm as well as a number of other websites including those of national user group associations; the agency management system vendor community; several carriers; and national producer associations.
The results of this survey will be available in March.
