Lloyd’s Channel Syndicate 2015 has appointed Iain Macleod as Head of its Marine Division.
He has worked in the London Market for over 25 years and has built a Marine account for previous companies. He “will be joined by an experienced team shortly,” said the bulletin.
Channel Syndicate CEO Richard Harris commented: “We are very pleased to welcome Iain to the Syndicate to head up the Marine Division. Iain has a wealth of experience which will be critical as we build our team and develop our Marine portfolio.”
The Channel Syndicate was authorized by Lloyd’s in the fourth quarter 2010 to write Property Direct and Facultative, Accident and Health, Marine and Financial Lines for risks incepting on or after January 1st 2011. It is managed by Whittington Capital Management Ltd.
Syndicate 2015 has an initial stamp capacity of 拢75 million [$122 million], fully provided by French Reinsurer SCOR. Tom Corfield is the Active Underwriter.
