Bermuda-based ACE Tempest Re Group has appointed Steve Roberts as managing director of its international business, which includes operations in London, Zurich, Sao Paulo and Shanghai.
Roberts is currently the deputy managing director of the region. He will remain based in London and will report to Jacques Bonneau, president and CEO of ACE Tempest Re Group.
Roberts joined ACE Tempest Re in 2005 and has served in his current role since 2008. Prior to joining ACE Tempest Re, he was with XL Re and various London-based Syndicates.
ACE Tempest Re is the global reinsurance business of the ACE Group.
