Freeman Mathis & Gary LLP (FMG), a nationwide litigation law firm with 200 attorneys and 19 offices in 10 states, has hired Alicia Santocki as a partner in the New York City office.
Santocki also will practice in firm’s offices in Newark, N.J., and New Haven, Conn. In addition, she will serve as managing director of FMG Assurance, which is the firm’s proprietary program for client compliance, project management, risk assessment and process improvement.
Santocki brings to FMG more than two decades of experience as defense and monitoring counsel for a number of programs for London, Bermuda and U.S.-based carriers and syndicates. Her claims and litigation management experience includes specialty lines ranging from employment, directors and officers, miscellaneous professional liability, lawyers’ professional liability, architects and engineers and financial institutions to miscellaneous medical and senior living and aging services.
She also has experience in structuring claims capabilities for new and emerging exposures such as cybersecurity, data privacy and technology. She has advised insurtechs to help bring them to market and partnered with alternative legal service providers.
