The MEMIC Group, a Portland, Maine-based workers’ compensation specialist, has appointed Lara Heal to director of Managed Care Services as well as promoted Karen Flaherty to director of Financial Operations and Kristen Wintle to director of Compensation and Benefits.
Heal has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with 10 years as a director of Case Management and Vocational Rehab Services at Unum.
Flaherty first joined MEMIC in 1995 as a financial accountant and was promoted in 2015 from senior accountant to manager of Financial Accounting Operations.
Wintle joined MEMIC in 1996 as a human resources coordinator and became payroll administrator in 2002.
