The Association Members Workers’ Compensation Trust said it will pay dividends totaling $245,000 to New Hampshire businesses that participated in the program between 2004 to 2006.
The dividends, a portion of which were previously distributed, vary between 19 percent to 41 percent of premium equivalents for those three policy years. It marks the fourth consecutive year the program has made substantial dividend payments to participants. Since 2004, the trust has paid $603,000 in dividends, an average return of nearly 20 percent in contributions.
The program was created in 2004 through a partnership of the Retail Merchants Association of New Hampshire and the New Hampshire Grocers Association partnered.
The trust is administered by First Cardinal, a third-party administrator of self-insured workers’ compensation groups in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
