The Maryland Insurance Administration is convening its Auto Insurance Task Force to Study Rates in Urban Areas today, Oct. 18, at Prince George’s Community College, Largo Student Center, Conference Room 2.
The task force has been asked to learn what other states have done to address the issue of high automobile insurance rates in urban areas. This is part of an effort to review and identify factors that increase automobile insurance rates in urban areas and to allow the task force to make recommendations to address those issues.
The meeting is scheduled to run from 4 to 6 p.m.
