Penn National Insurance has been named one of the top 100 best places to work in Pennsylvania, and received another accolade within the same program as one of the top 50 large companies to work for in the State.
The announcement indicated that “The judging process includes a detailed analysis of employment practices and benefits, and judges give 75 percent of the scoring weight to the results of an employee survey that asks employees to rate satisfaction with various aspects of their employer.”
A property/casualty insurer, Penn National is headquartered in Harrisburg PA. It wrote $431 million in premium last year through over 1100 independent agents in nine East Coast and Southern states.
