Effective April 1, 2026, Chesapeake Employers’ Insurance Company will lower its net rates by 4%, further easing workers’ compensation expenses for Maryland business owners. This is the 11th consecutive year that the company has reduced its rates.

Chesapeake Employers’ rates are subject to approval from the Maryland Insurance Administration. Maryland business owners are encouraged to contact their insurance agent or Chesapeake Employers at ceiwc.com to get a quote. Chesapeake Employers is rated A (Excellent) by A.M. Best.
