Insurance Technologies Corporation (ITC) is pleased to announce the release of real-time credit/risk scores (financial responsibility scores) from their comparative rating system (TurboRater) in Tennessee and Indiana. This will give the agent the ability to order credit with a single request for any of the participating companies without ever leaving the comparative rater.
Once the credit scores are returned to the comparative rater, the system will automatically re-rate based upon the new information. ITC’s TurboRater will then bridge the credit information to the Insurance Company’s proprietary software on the Agent’s desktop or Company’s web site.
“The ability to order credit from the comparative rating system will solve a major workflow problem for many agents”, says Scott Upfield, ITC’s President. “To get credit now for individual companies, the agent must either bridge to each company disk or use a standalone system to order credit. If the agent has several companies using credit, it will take much longer to do a quote as compared to ordering from the comparative.”
