Capital Insurance Group in California has promoted three members of the senior leadership team: Kevin Okelberry, Tammy Ebnet and John La Porta.
Okelberry has been promoted to vice president and chief underwriting officer. Okelberry will lead the underwriting, product, field, and client-services functions for all CIG product lines.
Ebnet has been promoted to assistant vice president 鈥� human resources from director of human resources.
Her focus will remain on process improvements and attracting and retaining the best possible talent.
La Porta, a seven-year veteran of CIG, has been promoted to assistant vice president 鈥� sales and marketing.
CIG is a regional property/casualty insurer in the Western U.S., and is headquartered in Monterey, Calif.
CIG underwrites through its subsidiary companies: California Capital Insurance Co., Eagle West Insurance Co., Nevada Capital Insurance Co. and Monterey Insurance Co.
