Location Inc. announced that the California Department of Insurance has approved its predictive crime analytics for rate filing, making it the 12th state the firm has received approval for rate filings.
Location Inc. analytics collect raw data reported from local law enforcement agencies across the U.S. and then uses a database to assign reported crimes to the localities for which agencies have law enforcement responsibility.
Computer models then predict the rates for major crimes.
