IFG Cos. has named Andrew P. Kempen senior vice president and chief pricing actuary.
Kempen has more than 14 years of insurance-related actuarial experience in pricing, modeling and reserving. He joins IFG’s corporate actuarial department and will be based in Denver, Colo.
Kempen began his actuarial career at Milliman in its Brookfield, Wis. office, as an actuarial analyst. After Milliman he worked for ING Group as an actuarial analyst in the valuation department of its U.S. life and annuities unit. Others he has worked for include USAA in San Antonio, Texas, with General Electric’s warranty services business and Argo Group International Holdings Ltd. in its excess and surplus lines segment.
IFG Cos. provides property/casualty insurance on both a non-admitted basis and an admitted basis.
