Colorado lawmakers are studying responses to September’s catastrophic floods.
A special state legislative panel held its first meeting Tuesday. Members are looking at whether there’s a need for legislation to better react to such a disaster in the future. They also want to make sure federal and nonprofit resources are being used as efficiently as possible.
Two lawmakers from Greeley were elected to lead the committee: Democrat Dave Young and Republican Scott Renfroe.
