CMR Risk & Insurance Services Inc. of San Diego has instituted a quarterly “give back to the community” donation where employees choose the local charity. The first presentation was made on June 29, 2011, to the Alpha Project for the Homeless in San Diego.
CMR chose the Alpha Project because they feel very strongly about organizations that help the homeless, and the Alpha Project not only helps, but also works toward getting the homeless back on their feet. The check was presented by Ekstrom & Skinner to Amy Gonyeau (COO) and Bob McElroy (President & Founder) of the Alpha Project and will sponsor approximately two weeks for a homeless person.
