The Insurance Professionals of San Joaquin County, Calif., a local chapter of the National Association of Insurance Women, International, installed new officers for the 2011-2012 term.
Officers are: President Barbara Williams of Western Marine Insurance Services Corp.; Vice President Victoria Chrys of Golden Bear Insurance; Treasurer Beth Ossino of Golden Bear Insurance; Recording Secretary Kim Jenkins of Western Marine Ins Services Corp.; and Corresponding Secretary Venetia Johnson of Wells Fargo of California Insurance Services.
The IPSJC scholarship recipient was Tyler Eaton, son of Jennifer Eaton with Continental Risk Insurance Services.
The following awards were presented: Industry Appreciation to James Watt of Truex Insurance; Insurance Woman of the Year to Kim Jenkins of Western Marine Insurance Services Corp.; Insurance Professional of the Year to Jeana Ramos of Continental Risk Insurance Services; Rookie of the Year to Angelica Ruiz of State Farm Insurance; and Betty Hoover Memorial Award to Darlene Wells.
IPSJC became a chartered association with NAIW in 1974.
