Thomas E. Smith has joined Sullivan Brokers Wholesale Insurance Services as president. Most recently, Smith was Great American Insurance Company Division President of Great American Custom Insurance Services.

Sullivan Brokers, part of the Los Angeles-based Sullivan Group, is a national wholesale brokerage with expertise in healthcare, professional liability, management liability and specialty casualty.

Smith has held senior management roles with American Re-Insurance Co. (Munich Re) and Farmers Insurance Group.
