Woodland Hills, Calif.-based Zenith National Insurance Corp. announced that Craig Thomson will be joining its principal operating subsidiary, Zenith Insurance Co., as executive vice president. He will be responsible for building and leading Zenith’s non-workers’ compensation property and casualty operation specializing in California agriculture. He will be headquartered in Sacramento, Calif.
Thomson has broad insurance and managerial experience and is a leader in the agricultural field. He was most recently vice president of sales and marketing for Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co.’s Agribusiness. Prior to joining Nationwide, he held various underwriting management positions with Allied Insurance Co. and CalFarm Insurance Co.
