The Rancho Cordova, Calif.-based Western Insurance Agents Association (WIAA) has announced the confirmation of its board officers and directors for the 2009-2011 term.
The 2009-2011 Board includes: Chairman Phil Hakopian of Cornerstone Commercial & Personal Insurance Services, Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; Vice Chairman Carol Connors of Ck Specialty Insurance Associates, San Jose, Calif.; and Secretary-Treasurer Neal Stanley of United Valley Insurance Services, Fresno, Calif.
Directors include: Marty Fox of Clovis Insurance Agency, Clovis, Calif.; Jeff Barnett of Mackie Insurance Brokerage, El Dorado Hills, Calif.; Steve Harrington, Harrington Insurance Agency of San Jose, Calif.; Tony Napoli of Napoli Insurance, Mission Hills, Calif.; and Tom Powell of Cal-Valley Insurance Services, Fresno, Calif.
Doug Lester, vice president of sales, will work hand-in-hand with the board on association initiatives. Kathy McDonald of Capstone Brokerage, Las Vegas, automatically assumes the immediate past chairman seat and will serve a two-year term on the executive committee.
