Candidates Mike Kreidler and Monica Lindeen have won the elections for top insurance regulators in their respective states.
In Montana, Democrat Lindeen received 235,232 votes beating out Republican Duane Grimes’ 206,735 votes for the position of State Auditor. The Secretary of State indicated 98 percent of precincts had reported their votes as of press time.
In Washington, incumbent Mike Kreidler beat John Adams as was expected. Kreidler received 910,571, or 60.98 percent, of the state’s votes, compared with Adams’ 582,584, or 39.02 percent, of the votes.
