Wanda Revells, CIC, has joined Universal North America Insurance Co. as assistant vice president of marketing and agency relations for Arizona and Nevada. She will oversee development and execution of market strategy to support new production and growth initiatives.
Universal, a national homeowners carrier, expanded into Arizona and Nevada in January. Revells’ responsibilities include account development, retention and customer relations.
Revells brings more than three decades of insurance industry experience in the Arizona/Nevada area to Universal. She spent 27 years as an agent with independent insurance agencies in Tucson and also worked at Allstate Insurance Co., leading a district sales team ranked first in the nation for the company. She has served as an independent consultant providing training and instruction, including teaching classes for the nationally recognized CISR program developed by the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors.
Revells served as president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Tucson and as a board member for the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of Arizona. During her career, she has been honored with numerous awards including the Lamp of Knowledge presented by the Southern Arizona Chapter of the Society of CPCU for her work in insurance training and education.
