Farmers Insurance Group has agreed to be the presenting partner for all California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) section, regional and state championship events. The five-year partnership begins Aug. 1, 2007.
In addition to event sponsorship, the agreement includes 22 CIF/FARMERS Scholar-Athlete scholarships to be awarded annually. Farmers Insurance Group will underwrite two $5,000 statewide Scholar-Athlete Awards as well as recognize a pair of scholar-athletes from each of the 10 CIF Sections with $2,000 scholarships, for an additional 20 student-athletes.
