Guy Carpenter & Co. LLC, a global risk and reinsurance specialist and part of the Marsh & McLennan Companies, has appointed Garick Zillgitt senior vice president and western region business development leader. Zillgitt, based in San Francisco, will focus on continued growth of the firm’s business throughout the region.
Prior to joining Guy Carpenter, Zillgitt was senior vice president of origination at Benfield, where he concentrated in new business development in the firm’s Western region. Previously, he was vice president at General Reinsurance Corp.
