Advantage Workers’ Compensation Insurance Company of Salt Lake City was named the underwriting partner of Boise-based WorkCare NorthWest, a partnership expected to make Advantage Insurance one of the largest workers’ compensation insurers in Idaho by July 2002.
Advantage Insurance, which will replace Everest National Insurance Company, projects to write workers’ compensation premiums of about $20 million by the end of the first program year.
WorkCare NorthWest will also continue its relationship with an Advantage Insurance sister company, Advantage WorkComp Services Company, which provides case management and other claims-related services. Another related company, Portland-based Pinnacle Risk Management Services, will adjust claims for WorkCare’s clients.

WorkCare NorthWest is a program administrator with offices in Boise, doing business through independent agents and brokers in Idaho, Montana and northern Nevada.
