Downs is also the owner of Prestige Trucking Insurance, a 67-employee agency in Tamarac, which was named ¾ÅÉ«’s 2024 Best Agency to Work For in the Southeast. Daniel Hausman, recently a business development manager for Nirvana Insurance, is the senior program manager for CSMV Underwriting Managers.
Hausman said CSMV, which stands for Commercial Specialists Modern Visionaries, offers underwriting discipline, new tech and retail service.
The firm was granted a Florida license in February, and it opened in August.
