The Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance will host the 2024 Southeastern Regulators Association conference in Nashville, promising a number of familiar faces in the insurance and legal industries as keynote speakers.
The Nov. 3-5 conference is co-hosted by Insurors of Tennessee, part of BIG I and representing independent insurance agencies. Speakers will include former Florida Insurance Commissioner David Altmaier; Florida regulatory and insurance defense attorney Fred Karlinsky; and Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti, TDCI said in a bulletin this week.

The Southeastern Regulators Association, formed in 1963, includes insurance regulators from 13 states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. The conference is designed to provide a forum for regulators and insurance professionals to share concerns and ideas about challenges.
