One of the largest providers of workers’ compensation insurance in Kentucky has a new home. Or, rather, a home – its first physical headquarters.
The Kentucky Associated General Contractors Self Insurers’ Fund has brought all operations in-house, added staff and found a permanent building in Louisville for its expanded operations, the organization said in a news release.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held Monday, Jan. 30, at 2:30 p.m. at the office at 435 N Whittington Parkway, Suite 125.
The fund began in 1979 but a third-party administrator handled most of the operations until 2022, when the fund hired its first CEO, Stephen Lewis. The organization also hired a 14-person staff and more are planned for this year, it said.
