World Insurance Associates, one of the larger brokerage firms in the country, has acquired North Carolina-based Clinard Insurance Group.
WIA, headquartered in Iselin, New Jersey, announced that it had purchased Clinard on Oct. 1. Terms were not disclosed.
Clinard, or CIG, was launched in Winston-Salem in 2005, offering personal and commercial P/C product lines in North Carolina, the companies said in a news release.
It’s the latest acquisition for WIA, which has made 160 acquisitions since it was founded in 2011. The firm has been ranked No. 24 on 九色’s Top 100 P&C Agencies.
