Greg Delleney, assistant captives director at the South Carolina Department of Insurance, has joined the capital management firm Risk Partners as captive account manager.
Delleney began working for the SCDOI in 2010 and held a number of roles at the department over the years. Most recently, he was chief financial analyst and assistant director of captives in the Financial Regulation and Solvency division, according to Captive Insurance Times.
Joe McDonald, director of captives in South Carolina, said that Delleney has a nuanced understanding of captive programs, the Times reported.
Risk Partners, with offices in New Jersey and South Carolina, is a specialty managing underwriter and alternative risk provider serving independent agents and brokers. It is part of Holman, an automotive services organization.
Alex Gibson Joins Alliant Insurance Services’ Orlando Benefits Team
Orlando, Florida-based consultant Alex Gibson has joined as vice president in its employee benefits group. Gibson’s expertise encompasses the areas of analytics, strategic planning, HR consulting, employee wellness, pharmacy benefit consulting and compliance.
Prior to joining Alliant, Gibson was an employee benefits consultant with a national insurance brokerage and consulting firm. Gibson is also a Grammy-nominated music engineer, producer, and founder of a music production and management company.
