Marsh McLennan Agency, a subsidiary of Marsh, one of the largest insurance brokers in the world, has acquired Pelnik Insurance, a North Carolina independent agency, the company announced.
Pelnik, founded in 1994, offers business insurance and employee benefits. It has 19 employees in offices in Cary and Greensboro, North Carolina.
March McLennan has 8,000 associates in 160 offices in North America. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, according to a news release.
