The Professional Insurance Agents of Florida Inc. (PIA of Florida) has tapped National Insurance Underwriters (NIU) as the official underwriter of its insurance agents’ professional liability errors and omissions insurance.
The partnership enables NIU to now offer E&O coverage from PIAPRO, the PIA Professional Liability Insurance Co., a risk retention group (RRG) formed to offer errors and omissions coverage exclusively to PIA members. PIAPRO is a PIA agent-owned, PIA agent-controlled independent company.
Specializing in professional liability, personal and commercial insurance industry for more than 50 years, NIU provides access to multiple national markets. The group provides web-based technology for rating and applications with minimal underwriting for many of its products, with no minimum production requirements for its agent-partners.
