Wells Fargo Insurance has named David Robertson managing director for its Atlanta office. Robertson will lead business development, client service and sales, and cross-sell strategy for the company’s insurance operations in northern Georgia and Tennessee as well as oversee the Employee Benefits, Property/ Casualty, and Private Risk Management business segments throughout the region.
He will report to Tom Longhta, regional managing director for Wells Fargo Insurance’s South region.
Robertson was most recently senior vice president and head of William Gallagher Associates’ Atlanta office, specializing in the healthcare industry. He is a former regional partner at Willis Group Holdings, and senior vice president at Marsh, a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies. Prior to joining the insurance industry, Robertson was a corporate banking officer at Citizens & Southern National bank, and worked for First Atlanta, a predecessor of Wells Fargo.
