Phillip Crone has joined The McCart Group in Georgia as managing director of business development and growth. Crone will work closely with the sales and marketing team to strengthen client relationships and build industry partnerships.
The McCart Group, located in Duluth, is a risk and insurance consulting firm and independent insurance brokerage.
Crone sold computer hardware from 1985 to 1997 and grew a $20 million computer supply company. After selling the company in 1997, he spent the next eight years playing of golf and wrote a motivational book (A Little Bit over a Long Period of Time).
Most recently, Crone served as vice president of sales in Atlanta for Marsh USA.
