Allstate representatives in Miami are hoping to make a teachable moment out of drivers’ dangerous habits.
On July 28 the representatives asked teenagers to tally the number of distracted motorists they see.
The training course is part of the insurance company’s national campaign for safe teen driving, dubbed “Action Against Distraction.”
An Allstate study released earlier in the summer named three Florida metropolitan areas among the nation’s top 10 hotspots for fatal teen crashes. They were Jacksonville, Orlando and Tampa/St. Petersburg.
