A Berkeley County, W. Va., Grand Jury indicted two men for presenting fraudulent certificates of insurance as true documents, according to West Virginia Insurance Commissioner, Jane L. Cline.

Richard E. Thompson Jr., 37, of Martinsburg, W. Va., was indicted on Feb. 19 on two felony counts of uttering for allegedly presenting fraudulent certificates of insurance for an automobile on two separate occasions, Cline said.

In a separate case, Patrick H. Williams Jr., 34, of Falling Waters, W. Va., was also indicted on two felony counts of uttering for allegedly presenting fraudulent certificates of insurance for an automobile on two occasions, according to Cline. If convicted, both men face a one to 10- year prison sentence and a fine of up to $10,000 on each felony count.
