Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear appointed Hargis Epperson as a member of the Manufactured Home Certification and Licensure Board.
Epperson, 46, of Jackson, is currently a general manager at Clayton Homes. He replaces Michelle E. Riggs, who has resigned. The appointment shall serve for the remainder of the unexpired term ending Sept. 1.
The Manufactured Home Certification and Licensure Board is made up of seven gubernatorial appointees. The board is responsible for licensing retailers, certifying installers and issuing certificates of acceptability to qualifying manufacturers.
