A man living in a mobile home inside a massive art warehouse in Louisville, Ky., died from injuries sustained in a three-alarm blaze on Jan 26.

Bill Christie died at University Hosptial, a hospital official said. Christie’s age was not immediately avaiable.

Investigators say the fire may have started near the mobile home Christie was living in. The blaze shot flames 50 feet into the air and took 75 firefighters to control.

Five people in a residential building next to the warehouse were able to escape unharmed.

The warehouse served as an art studio for half a dozen artists who worked there. The warehouse’s owner said the building contained several hundred thousand dollars worth of art and art equipment.

A dozen other nearby structures were also damaged by the blaze.
